Volkswagen has now developed the Polo Sedan model for the Russian market. The model is actually the Skoda Rapid’s VW logo attached due to the high costs. Volkswagen, which thinks that the MQB A0 platform will be expensive for the former Soviet republics, therefore launched the Skoda Rapid model with the VW logo. The new Polo Sedan entered the Russian market with large headlights and standard led lighting. A Jetta-like front design and led taillights are the biggest changes in the car’s exterior design.

Under the hood of the new model there will be a choice of 3 gasoline engines. These will be options of 1.6-liter 89 hp, 1.4-liter 109 hp and 1.6-liter 123 hp. The gear options will come in 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DSG. From the side, the window line and the door surround are the same as the 2020 Skoda Rapid. The cabin has a 6.5 or 8.25-inch touchscreen, while the digital instrument panel is 10.25-inch in size. The new model is 93 mm longer than its predecessor. It also has a 49 mm longer wheelbase. This means more knee distance for the rear passengers, while the luggage volume is 550 liters.
