Volkswagen Atlas 2021

2021 Volkswagen Atlas managed to achieve the expected momentum in the face of serious competitors in the American market. With the passenger capacity of up to 7 people, the expected make-up operation was carried out for the model, which carried Volkswagen in a completely different class. The new Atlas, which opened its doors for the first time within the scope of the Chicago Auto Show, shows innovations in the user experience with the changes in its exterior and interior design. We see that the model, which stands out with the change in exterior design, has an assertive stance.

The model, which has a brand new grille with three stages in the front section, has also updated the lighting group and bumper. When we move to the back, the changes in the schemes of the bumper, diffuser and stop lamps make itself felt. New wheel designs added to the options also strengthened the new character. When we move to the cockpit section, we see the dynamics that we started to see in Volkswagen models in the European market.

The 8-inch multimedia screen and console structure are available in this change that starts with the steering. The 2.0-liter TSI engine, which we encounter at the entry level, brings the four-wheel drive system as standard. The Atlas will be available with two powertrains: a 276-horsepower V6 and a 235-hp four-cylinder turbocharged and direct-injection TSI® engine. It should be noted that both engines here are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard.

Offering many electronic support as standard as front zone collision, autonomous emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind spot warning and back zone traffic assistant, the new Atlas will be on sale gradually starting next spring.
