Skoda Octavia RS iV 2020

Octavia RS iV draws attention as the brand’s first performance plug-in hybrid model. The 1.4 TSI + electric motor combination offers 245 hp power and 400 Nm torque in the Octavia RS iV. 0-100 km / h acceleration, which takes 6.6 seconds on the old generation RS 245, takes 7.3 seconds on the RS iV, while the maximum speed has been reduced from 250 km / h to 225 km / h. The 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI packages of the Octavia RS iV, which can be purchased with a 6-speed DSG transmission, with an internal combustion engine, will join the family in the future. Skoda says the new Octavia RS iV can drive up to 60 km of electrical power, according to the WLTP norms – which will save lives on the way to and from work. The 13.0 kWh battery, which fills in 6 hours in household sockets, reduces this time to 3.5 hours when using Wallbox.

When we look at the design, there are 18 “wheels that come as standard but 19” options are available. Details such as the more aggressive front bumper and the differently positioned LED fog lights distinguish the RS iV from the normal Octavia. A small spoiler attachment is used in the liftback versions of the Octavia, which has a double exhaust outlet at the back, even if it is fake. The spoiler is more prominent in the Combi package. The charging socket, which is the return of the plug-in hybrid system, is attached to the left front fender. Unlike standard Octavia’s cabin, the cabin features details such as faux carbon fiber upholstery, perforated leather sports steering wheel, sports seats with fixed head wrapping around the body, and RS logos embroidered in certain locations.
