The Twingo Z.E model will have more range and a lower price than its German rival Smart ForFour EQ. The model to be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show will be presented to the taste of European buyers at the end of the year. Twingo Z.E., which will use the batteries with the LG Chem logo, will place these 22 kWh batteries just under the front seat. The 60 kW electric motor will provide 82 hp power and 160 Nm torque output to the vehicle.

According to Renault’s claims, the vehicle can complete 0-50 km / h acceleration in under 4 seconds. The maximum speed of the vehicle is determined as 135 km / h. This is not bad for the city. Twingo Z.E. It will also have a wide range compared to the small city models. ForFour EQ, which is the closest competitor to it, has a maximum range of 130 kilometers according to WLTP tests. Renault has increased this range to 180 kilometers with Twingo Z.E. For urban use, the model will offer a range of 250 kilometers. It should also be noted that the battery of the model reached a full level in one hour and three minutes at 22 kW charging stations. In standard 2.4 kW outputs, this charging time is up to 13.3 hours.
