Bentley Mulliner Bacalar 2020

Carrying traces from the EXP 100 GT concept introduced last year, Bentley Mulliner Bacalar takes its name from the peninsula in the Yutakan region of Mexico. A total of only 12 will be produced the model can be considered as a two-seat version of the Continental GTC. But according to the brand’s statements, only the door handles of the vehicle were taken directly from Continental. The design of Bacalar, the rest of which has been specially designed, is similar to the EXP 100 GT introduced last year.

At the heart of Bacalar is an engine belonging to Volkswagen Group. Using the current version of the twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine, the vehicle can now produce 650 hp and 900 Nm of torque from this unit. Paired with an 8-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, this unit helps the vehicle complete its 0-100 km / h acceleration in three and a half seconds. With a rear 20 mm wider than the Continental GT, this special model also looks quite stylish with its body in 3 different colors. The model, which appears on the back panel with the word Bacalar, has also achieved an innovative look with the bronze Bentley logo.

There is a very special Mulliner touches in the cabin of the model, which has an attractive design. Working to make Bacalar look special, the team decorated the front console with a special wood veneer. It is also shared that this wood, called Riverwood, is produced from trees that have been knocked down naturally and drifted in the lakes for years.
