2022 Ford E-Transit

The 2022 Ford E-Transit will offer a driving range of up to 350 kilometers according to the WLTP with a battery capacity of 67 kWh. In the E-Transit, the electric motor generating 198 kW (269 horsepower) and 430 Nm of torque will power the rear wheels. In this way, the vehicle will have a superior traction performance when carrying loads. Ford E-Transit, which has different driving modes, also has an Eco mode that can reduce energy use by up to 10 percent. This mode maximizes the driving range by keeping the vehicle’s maximum speed, acceleration and air conditioning settings at the optimum level.

The battery system of the electric Ford Transit has AC charging and DC fast charging support. With the 11.3 kW internal charger in the vehicle, it takes 8.2 hours for the battery to reach full charge. When using a 115 kW high power DC fast charger, it takes 35 minutes to charge the battery from 15 percent to 80 percent. On the other hand, thanks to the optional industrial socket in E-Transit, it is also possible to do business without using a generator. Ford E-Transit has a SYNC 4 infotainment system with a 12-inch touch screen. The system, which has voice recognition feature and cloud-based navigation, receives wireless updates thanks to OTA support, allowing the driver to easily benefit from all new features and quality improvements. Benefiting from advanced driving assistant technologies, the vehicle has features such as traffic sign detection and smart speed assistant.

In addition, features such as collision avoidance aid, blind spot information system, lane change warning, 360 degree camera system with reversing brake assist and adaptive cruise control are among the electric assistance systems of Ford Transit. The Ford E-Transit’s battery is placed under the body, parallel to the floor. In this way, 15.1 cubic meters of cargo volume was provided. The company offers load carrying capacity for European customers up to 1616 kilograms in the Van version and up to 1967 kilograms in the van version.
