2021 Nissan Versa

The 2021 Nissan Versa comes with a high-tech engine and impressive fuel efficiency. Nissan Versa will be offered in 3 different trim levels: S, SV, and SR. The vehicle is expected to have 122 horsepower with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. Nissan Versa is expected to carry forward the same powertrain, that is, a 5-speed manual transmission doing the duty in the base S version and an optional Xtronic automatic transmission, which is basically a CVT gearbox which mimics shifts when you put your foot down for a sudden move on.

As for the engine itself, the 1.6 unit feels adequate in the city but runs out of steam fairly quickly out on the highway. That being said, the gearbox is quick to react and keeps the engine bang in the middle of the powerband. Nissan Versa does the 0-60 mph in 9.7 seconds and the quarter-mile comes up in 17.4 seconds. The Versa has a decent top speed of 155 mph and stays quite stable even at its extremity. Despite having a manual transmission, gearbox, its acceleration is sluggish as compared to the rivals. But on the flip side, it helps impressively with efficiency.

Engine: 1.6L Inline-4
Power: 122 hp
0-60 mph: 9.7 seconds
Top Speed: 155 mph
