McLaren Elva 2021

McLaren Elva is powered by a dual-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. The engine has a power output of 804 hp (815 PS) and a torque of 800 Nm. The V8 is accompanied by a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. McLaren says the new Elva is able to accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds, reaching 200 km / h in 6.7 seconds.

McLaren created Elva to celebrate the classic M1A, M1B and M1C sports cars, the road versions of the 1960’s “Group 7” racing cars. The new Elva will be produced only 399 units and will be sold for 1 million 690 thousand dollars each.

McLaren Elva, will also be the first model of the brand to use Active Air Management System (AAMS). The system sends the air through the nose of the car, the high-speed air is directed upwards in front of the passengers on the cockpit and a kind of virtual windscreen or wind shield is created.

Helmets can be worn if desired, but the car’s cleverly tuned aerodynamics allow passengers to travel comfortably without helmets. McLaren will also present a version of Elva with a fixed windscreen.

At the rear, there is a full-width active windbreaker. The height and angle of the spoiler are adjusted to provide aerodynamic stability and act as an air brake. The rear diffuser directs the airflow through the vertical strips and works with the rear wing. The car offers a completely flat underbody.
