2021 BMW M5

The 2021 BMW M5 is powered by a dual turbo 4.4-liter V8 unit that produces 600 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and M xDrive all-wheel drive. The system has 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD modes. This combination allows the M5 to accelerate 0-100 km / h in 3.4 seconds and 0-200 km / h in 11.1 seconds. Customers who want more power can choose M5 Competition, which achieves 625 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque from the same unit. The model in question completes 0-100 km / h acceleration in 3.3 seconds and 0-200 km / h in 10.8 seconds thanks to the extra power. Let us also mention that the BMW M5 Competition is 7 mm closer to the ground than the M5. Despite the power difference, the maximum speed of both models is electronically limited to 250 km / h. It is possible to increase this limit to 305 km / h with the M Driver’s Package, which can be purchased for an extra fee.

In addition, the bright black kidney grille, lighting and quad exhaust outlet and aggressive diffuser are among the renewed parts. The car also has a roof that matches the hood of the engine and a tiny luggage spoiler. The 2021 BMW M5 will be available in five different body colors, including Motegi Red Metallic and Brands Hatch Gray. The car also has new black wheels with a diameter of 20 inches. The biggest update in the cabin was the iDrive 7 option that came with the Live Cockpit system. In this way, the vehicle has two 12.3-inch displays. The infotainment system on the front console of the car is touch-operated.
