With the launch of their 2019 R.S.19 Formula 1 car, Renault have shown off their new prized recruit and dreams of taking the next step up in the championship. Getting Daniel Ricciardo to jump ship at one of the top teams and come over to Renault was a big coup for the French works team. He stands as the first ‘big’ name driver to make their way to Renault since the company returned to the sport in 2016. That in combination of greater funding and more resources could see the team make steady progress over the next couple of years.

The 2019 livery hasn’t changed much from the 2018 version, with the odd nip and tuck here and there. Renault have developed a triking yellow and black combination that is likely to stay relatively unchanged for a while to come.
