Hyundai’s first proper hot hatch the i30 N, has been given the Project C upgrade package with revised suspension and less weight. The name comes form the Area C high-performance test circuit at Hyundai’s Namyang testing facility where the car has been developed.

50 kilograms of weight has been removed from the standard i30 N, thanks to light weight seats and carbon fiber sills, hood and rear diffuser. 19-inch OZ Racing wheels wrapped with 235/35 R19 Pirelli P Zero rubber also help in removing a large amount of weight from the Project C.

Other improvements come from the revised suspension and chassis setup, which enhance the Project C’s agility and performance. Production is planned to be limited to 600 units, all made in left-hand drive only.
