Lotus is celebrating its 70th anniversary with their quickest street-legal sports car ever produced, the Lotus 3-Eleven 430. Utilising the engine from the Exige Cup 430 with the same tune and power output, this latest addition to the Lotus Eleven family boasts some impressive numbers. Lotus is renowned for their light weight cars, and the 3-Eleven continues that trend with a 920 kg (2,028 lbs) dry weight. When applied to the 430 horsepower output of the engine, the 3-Eleven 430 has a very nice 467 hp per tonne power to weight ratio.

Other improvements come in the form of extra downforce developed by the new aero package. The 3-Eleven 430 now generates 44 kg more than its predecessor, with 265kg of downforce generated at its 180 mph top speed. The suspension also has seen some improvements with better dampers, anti-roll bars and tyres. Production is limited to 20 units only.
