2016 Aston Martin Vulcan


British luxury brand Aston Martin has unveiled their most intense and exhilarating creation yet, the track only weapon of a car, the Vulcan. Featuring an all-carbon fibre construction, screaming 800 plus horsepower naturally-aspirated 7.0L V12 engine and know-how from the brands extensive motorsport experience, the Vulcan promises truly extreme performance. The engine the mid mounted with rear wheel drive hooked up to a 6-speed sequential transmission. Kerb weight comes in at a fairly light 1,350 kg, and the wheels come in 19-inch form with 345/30R19 Michelin race specification tyres fitted.

Only 24 examples worldwide will be made, providing customers with a tailor made track day experience through a graduating scale of detailed power and dynamic performance adjustments. Owners will have the opportunity to be trained by Aston Martin race drivers to increase their skills on the track and learn to get the most out of their new track weapon. David King said: “We will be running a series of exclusive track day events commencing in 2016 that will offer the opportunity for these customers to explore their driving capabilities, and the car’s performance potential, on some of the world’s most famous and glamorous race circuits.”
