The Tesla Model S has grown another motor with the P85D edition. The dual motor setup places a second electric motor in the front of the car, adding more power, improving acceleration and even bringing all-wheel drive to the table. Power has been increased to 496 PS (345 kW) enabling acceleration of 0-100 kph to be done in 3.3 seconds.

The addition of a second electric motor places the modest looking, unassuming Model S as a serious performance car. A car that will leave behind most other cars behind at the lights, all while making little to no noise whilst doing it.

Since it’s launch in late 2012, the Tesla Model S has rocketed the Tesla into stardom with the company gaining an ever growing following. All things Tesla are hot right now, as Tesla provides the world with a look into the future of what electric cars can be.
