2005 Volkswagen Passat R GT


The Volkswagen Passat R GT is a technical concept from HPA Motorsports featuring a 575-bhp, 3.2-liter Twin Turbo MPI (non FSI) V6 engine with a twin turbo conversion package. Technical details include dual Garrett GT25 ball-bearing-based turbochargers, dual proprietary HGP exhaust manifolds, cast aluminum short runner intake manifold, Dual air-to-air intercoolers and upgraded fuel system.

Volkswagens 4Motion all-wheel drive system is coupled with KW Variant 3 coilover suspension, 365mm front brake discs with Brembo 8-piston monobloc calipers and 365mm rear discs. The DSg transmission gets lengthened gear ratios and a sport-shifter calibration. 19 inch custom forged aluminum Avus wheels are wrapped with 245/30R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. The Exterior gains some newly designed front and rear bumpers, side rocker panels and rear wing.
